This fully updated, fully furnished, quiet cottage is located in the Black Forest in Colorado Springs and just a couple of miles from great hiking and biking at the Pinery and Section 16 Trail. It sits back on the lot to insure privacy and a quiet stay. The property is surrounded by fences, a well lit sidewalk, and motion sensors, which allow for a secure, safe stay. We do allow pets (with pre-approval). Enjoy gorgeous Pikes Peak views from the comfort of your front porch.

Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while you watch one of our gorgeous sunrises or sunsets from the comfort of your own deck. There are beautiful mountain views from your porch as you relax and unplug. As you enter the cottage you will be greeted with an open concept kitchen and living room complete with tall ceilings, a full sized refrigerator, oven and stove top. The living area has a comfortable couch that converts to a full size bed for any extra guests or kiddos. You have a tv with all the latest streaming as well. The primary bedroom is quite large, with a huge window that invites the forest views right in. There is a smart tv, full size washer and dryer and a bathroom with shower and tub combo. This cottage truly has everything you need and nothing you don't. The cottage rests on 6 acres of lush forest next to our main house. We are minutes from some of the best trails Colorado Springs has to offer for mountain biking and hiking. Pop down to Black Forest Rd for some delicious coffee and breakfast at R&R (we love their breakfast sammiches) or get dressed for dinner and head over to The Black Forest Bistro for an award winning dinner.
Other Details to Note
Because we are in a family neighborhood, we ask that you observe quiet hours after 10:00PM. Also, due to the fire danger in our area year round, we ask that you do not smoke at any time on our property. The Loft Area is closed off and not available or listed to use. The entire cottage is yours. The Main 5bdrm Cabin next to the Mini Suite, we live in and when we're traveling, we rent it out on Airbnb. Can be pet friendly on approval basis up to 2 Dogs with the $75 per Pet/Dog fee paid prior to check-in. If you bring a animal and don't pay the Pet Fee then its a $500 Fine There is NO Pet Damage and all the pet poop is picked up and placed in the trash cans etc then we won't charge an Extra $125/per Pet to clean. If you pay for just 1 animal and bring more than there will be an automatic $500 Fee. It is windy here so dust can accumulate and its pet friendly so there will be pet hair from time to time just the nature of being pet friendly. Please be aware of your surroundings. We are in the Foothills. We've had Bears in our Front Yard. We've had Deer in our backyard. Or numerous other wild animals. You might see Moth or Spider or mouse in the house. which is normal due to the mountain living. This is Colorado Pets on furniture and Beds/Linen that requires extra Cleaning or Replacement of Linen it's a $250-$1000 additional Charge
